History of the hotel
The Twin Oaks Hotel began as a derelict row of colliery cottages belonging to the old Ramcroft Colliery until it was closed in 1966. These cottages have been carefully renovated to retain their unique character. The process began in 1986 and took until 1987 to complete. Twin Oaks is a family run and owned business, which ensures our service is personal yet professional in every way.
